BVLGARI asked Google Zoo Paris and UNIT9 to create an interactive experience to immerse their international audience in the magic of Rome and the most iconic locations to discover their influence on the BVLGARI collections. Starting from real locations in Rome they wanted to create a dreamlike atmosphere under the amazing constellations designed by the Italian street artist Lucamaleonte.
By using WebGL we were able to create a smooth and crisp 360° 3D experience with integrated videos and hotspots. Key features of the experience are: 360 ° sharpness, smooth interaction, multi-languages and short loading time, and above all mobile compatibility.
Fast loading, smooth and high quality image all over the website in line with UNIT9 requirement and BVLGARI brand image. By exploring the Spanish Steps, the Villa Borghese Gardens, the Piazza Navona and the Colosseum, users can explore how Rome’s ancient culture inspired BVLGARI’s iconic products. Users follow an illuminated path enriched with hotspots to learn about the sites on their virtual visit. Users can share a wish by sending friends and family a digital Christmas card with a personal message superimposed on a background of Rome. These shareables can be posted on friend’s social media pages to celebrate the Christmas season. The multi-lingual site is embedded with BVLGARI store locators, covering Europe America and Asia. It also connects to the brand’s social channels.
