In order to show our augmented reality competences and all our creativity, we thought about the realization of a puzzle game. The point of start that inspired the executive planning was the theme of the perspective. From this premise comes Mazelith, a brain teaser founded on impossible figures. These fluctuating ancestral and objects contain a bright power that cross them. Only following this power and finding the right perspective, the sides will match revealing the entire figure.
The mechanics is based on the exact point of perspective from where the user watches the impossible figure. Invisible cubes have been arranged in order to define the right perspective on the terminals that have to match: verifying the position of the cubes we can understand when the user is observing the figure from the right point of view. When the cubes overlap, the terminals match and the flow of energy continues his way. The position's layout of the 3D object is made by ARKit on iOS devices and ARCore on Android's.
The tutorial and the structure of progressive levels help users to learn the dynamics of the game with ease and to become familiar with the augmented reality. The result is a funny brain-teaser playable everywhere: in your own living room or by the street. What's important is the presence of the necessary space to have the freedom to move researching the right perspective.
